ANNUITY SALES CONSULTANT

We are looking for a Personal Annuity Consultant to join the sales team in Houston.

Job Summary:

The Personal Annuity Consultant is primarily responsible for providing product and case design knowledge and support to ensure the creation and retention of new business. Additionally, the Personal Annuity Consultant will assist in various functions as outlined below in the duties and responsibilities.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in a variety of products in order to provide our agent partners with the knowledge of appropriate products and services to best fit their clients’ needs
  • Ability to solve problems, and utilize a variety of closing techniques to secure new business
  • Exceptional interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to complete multiple challenging priorities and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment
  • Attention to detail to ensure speed and accuracy in completion of projects
  • Strong background in use of computer programs
  • Ability to develop and retain active agent base by creating a good rapport and utilizing excellent, professional, conversational skills 
  • Aspiration and determination to succeed in a competitive financial services setting
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to make decisions and to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently, and work effectively as a member of the InsurMark Team
  • Ability to meet deadlines, sometimes with no notice
  • Perform all duties as needed by supervisor or coworkers

Job Requirements:

  • Successful track record in sales quota achievement
  • High level of communication and telephone skills is imperative
  • Must be able to interact with culturally diverse people, at all levels, while maintain a consistently serving and professional attitude
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong product knowledge in the insurance industry

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our company in Houston.

Job Summary:

The full-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator will work in Houston, Texas in our Marketing & Communications department. This person will be responsible for marketing projects including, but not limited to, providing creative ideas and content to advertisement program, producing and maintaining marketing campaigns, and updating our website utilizing Adobe Contribute. Assisting with miscellaneous business development projects such as creating mailing lists, sending out email blasts, working on events and promotions and market research are also part of this marketing position. We require a well rounded individual who is motivated, self sufficient and can manage multiple projects efficiently. We offer a comprehensive benefits package. Salary is based on level of education and experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience related to Marketing, Customer Service and Sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be detail oriented and highly motivated
  • Computer proficient in Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
  • Knowledge of Adobe Contribute a plus
  • Must work well under pressure
